Happy Friday, friends!
Just wanted to let everyone know that I have a new Substack called “Nintendo is Great.” In it, I’ll be attempting to play and discuss every game ever released for a Nintendo console in chronological order, starting with the NES and continuing through the Switch.
Yeah, it’s crazy, but it’s something I’ve been wanting to try for sometime, and the idea just didn’t feel like the right fit for the Sonoran Videogame Society.
Here’s an intro post if you’re interested.
Right now, my plan is to post on both the Sonoran Videogame Society and Nintendo is Great in equal amounts. Presuming I’m in good health and life doesn’t get in the way, both Substacks should see about six posts per month.
Both the Sonoran Videogame Society and Nintendo is Great will have posts exclusive to paid subscribers only.
The good news is, if you’re a paid subscriber to Sonoran Videogame Society and you subscribe for free to Nintendo is Great, I will comp you a paid subscription for the latter. This also works in reverse. Paid subscribers to Nintendo is Great will also receive a paid subscription to the Sonoran Videogame Society, if they are subscribed to both.
In other words, two paid Substack subscriptions for the price of one. That said, you must be paid subscribed to one, and free subscribed to the other, to take advantage of this deal.
I hope that’s not too confusing! If anyone has any questions, feel free to DM me.
If you’re a fan of Nintendo, I think you’ll enjoy this Substack. Check it out and let me know what you think down in the comments!
Best,
DC
At first I was going to ask for clarification about whether it was playing EVERY game for a Nintendo console or every Nintendo-published game, but then I read the initial post over there. I salute your ambition and wish you all the best on this massive journey. I look forward to reading, playing along, helping with, and possibly contributing to it! Yay, Nintendo!
